Dear Diary,
Last summer I went to the Dale Chihuly exhibit (now closed) at the Royal Ontario Museum (the ROM) and it was such an enchanting experience. I never truly appreciated the the art of blown glass until that moment. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed by a stunning lagoon, where the entranced by the realism of its beautiful shapes and colours.
There is no limit to Chihuly's visual talent, bringing his visions to life. I personally love the fact that his art pieces allow you to feel as though you are on a magical journey, allowing the mind to get lost in the surrounding beauty. Lying down on a soft cushion, where your only view are bright beautiful exotic shapes finished with intricate detailing.

"I WANT PEOPLE TO BE OVERWHELMED WITH LIGHT AND COLOUR
IN A WAY THEY'VE NEVER EXPERIENCED"

~ Dale Chihuly

Although it was a short exhibit, whether you are a lover of the arts or not, I highly recommend visiting a Chihule exhibit. It truly is an amazing experience, leaving you with a profound appreciation for individual talent, skill, and creativity.
Until next time lovely,
